The large 6-inch Nokia Lumia 1520 was formally introduced a couple of weeks ago at the Nokia World event, but the introduction overlooked two essential bits of knowledge at that time about the smartphone; when it might be released in the U.S. and how much it will cost. Nokia has still not provided those facts but a source from the Microsoft Retail site now has discovered just those details.

The page is now taking pre-orders for the 1520, showing that it’s going to be released on November fifteenth within the U.S. for the price of $199 by signing a new two 12 month agreement on the AT&T network. To buy the phone outright and not use an agreement, the phone retails for $549.

Just a reminder: here are some on the specs behind the Lumia 1520:

  • 6 inch full HD 1080p LCD display
  • PureView 20 megapixel rear camera
  • Qualcomm Snapdragon 800 quad-core processor set at 2.2GHz
  • 2GB of RAM, 16GB of on-board storage with microSD slot
  • Colors: Yellow, white, black, glossy red

You will find still no formal info on the 10.1 inch Lumia 2520 tablet, also introduced at Nokia Environment, it could well stil be produced but could be a target for Verizon Wireless instead.
